Inglés 1º ESO: "Magdalenas, muffins & cupcakes"

Objetivo cumplido. ¡Qué satisfechos estamos! Los alumnos de Inglés de 1º ESO han hecho un gran trabajo con el proyecto Magdalenas, muffins and cupcakes. Como ya os comentamos, han aprendido a redactar recetas de origen anglosajón que ya están presentes en la cocina española, demostrando que la gastronomía también se mueve, se globaliza. 

Goals met. How satisfied we are! 1ºESO English students have done a great job with the Project Magdalenas, muffins and cupcakes. As we already told you, they have learnt how to write recipes of an Anglosaxon origin which are now present in the Spanish cookery, showing that cuisine and food also move and become global.

Han trabajado las herramientas TAGUL y PIKTOCHART y ha sido muy interesante. Grabaron vídeos en inglés elaborando las diferentes recetas e intentando darle un formato televisivo. Se sintieron grandes estrellas de la televisión.

They have worked with TAGUL and PIKTOCHART as tools and that has really been interesting. They  shot videos in English where they were cooking the different recipes and trying to give them a TV format. They felt great TV stars!

Y el día de la socialización de nuestro proyecto… ¡ay, Dios mío! ¡Convertimos el aula en un plató de televisión con un restaurante magnífico! Expusimos todos sus trabajos en las paredes. ¡Estaba todo tan bonito! Los alumnos de 6º de primaria, algunos padres y profesores asistentes fueron nuestros invitados y pudieron ver como realizaban un show-cooking en directo y luego degustar sus platos.

And on our socialization Project day… Oh, my God! We turned the classroom into a TV set with an awesome restaurant! We exhibited all their work on the walls. Everything was so nice! 6th grade Primary school students, some parents and teachers were our guests and could see how they carried out a live show-cooking and then try their dishes.

Nuestra presentadora dio paso a tres grupos de chefs que, por supuesto, en equipo, mostraron cómo se hace un full English breakfast, pancakes y trifle como divertido postre. Delicious! Estoy muy orgullosa de ellos.

Our TV presenter gave way to three groups of chefs who, of course, as a team, showed how to prepare a full English breakfast, pancakes and trifle as a funny dessert. Delicious!  I’m really proud of them.
